Fundraising Opportunities

We have a variety of programs and events dedicated to earning money for our school – while providing value to our families. It’s our goal to avoid fundraisers like selling cookies, candles and wrapping paper. Your donations are greatly appreciated and fund many school programs throughout the year including Field Trip Buses, Cultural Arts Assemblies, After school Programs, Family Nights,  Book Fair, Science Fair, Read Across America events, Library Programs, Class Parties, Picnics, Technology Gifts, Teacher Appreciation and more!

Dollars for Dolphins

Please support SHES by making a monetary contribution directly to SHES PTA. Dollars for Dolphins (DFD) is the easiest way to help the PTA fund programs and events for students, teachers and families. 100% of donated funds goes directly towards implementing PTA sponsored programs and events like field trip buses and assemblies.

Every dollar counts! Checks should be made payable to SHES PTA. SHES PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization and 100% of your contribution to Dollars 4 Dolphins is tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt for your records.

Share this campaign with family and friends that want to support your child's education!

Spirit nights are great opportunities to feed your family and support our school. Through this series of events, our local community partners donate a portion of proceeds for the sales to the SHES PTA. We build our community spirit by supporting local business and they support our fundraising efforts.

Silent Auction

Join SHES at the annual Silent Auction Fundraiser being held in April every year. The silent auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds raised at this event enables the PTA to directly fund field trips, educational events, classroom materials, equipment and many other enrichments that are not funded by the County. Any contribution of your support will help make this event and our mission a continued success! Amazon Wish List - Consider purchasing items from the SHES PTA Amazon Wishlist. A curated list with specific teacher-requested items to support all students at SHES.If you're able, this is a great way to make an impact!

Harris Teeter- Link your Harris Teeter Grocery card every year - Harris Teeter: school code 5168

Wish your child a happy birthday on the SHES outdoor digital sign. All birthday messages will read: "Happy Birthday, YOUR CHILD'S NAME" and will be displayed for 2-3 days. Per FCPS policy, only first names will be displayed. Messages are limited to current SHES students.
